#HAIRGOALS
Everyone has goals for their hair whether it be length, fullness,
moisture, etc.
There is nothing wrong with that at all!
Goals give you
something to work towards in your natural hair journey.
I want to take time to
share my personal loc challenge so that we can watch the transition together 😊
My Goal is to get more fullness in the top of my head and around my
hairline.
About 4 months after giving birth to my son my hair began to shed badly
around the hairline and top of my head. My hair was so thin, you could literally
see my scalp shining through. I went through some of my old photos from before I
started my locs to try to show you exactly what I mean.
I knew the shedding of my hair after pregnancy was completely normal so I wasn’t too
worried in that sense but I did wish it didn’t look so bad—it was a bit of a struggle.
I
contemplated waiting to begin my loc journey until my hair became fuller but
WHEN was that going to be?? Exactly. We don’t really know and I was very ready
to begin my locs so I decided to begin them knowing my hair was much thinner
than normal.
I have had had my locs for about 9 months now and I am happy with the
progress so far overall. Now I am going to give extra focus and care to my
hairline. My goals are to have fullness all over and for somehow my length to
match up since my locs at the top are much shorter.
What are some of your hair goals? Let's reach them together!
